Bank blown up in Germany after ATM robbery

These thieves thought they had come up with a dynamite idea when they decided to try and crack open an ATM with dynamite.

But the cack handed raiders in Germany who detonated a bomb meant to
open-up the machine ended up blowing the entire bank to smithereens.The explosion at the Nottuln-Darup Sparkasse bank, tore the premises apart and sent rubble flying for 300 yards.

No-one was hurt in the blast after midnight on Sunday in Nottuln, but damage to surrounding shops and homes was widespread.

At dawn the road leading to the bank was sealed off and residents
evacuated as firemen moved in to turn off gas and electric power.
