      You need to go to the library and pick up a copy of the quran.
      It cleary states what the objective is and what muslims must do.
      If there was some movement within islam that started with a more moderate interpretation like eating pork and drinking alcohol, I´d say your comment could be valid.
      If anything the muslims are getting more and more strict in their following of islam.

  • "The majority of Syrians ..." and the lie starts right there. 75% of Syrians are Sunni muslims who have been oppressed for 40+ years under the Assad clique. The overwhelming majority of Syrians want Assad to hang.

    • @theNomad absolutely a lie..majority of syrians would like to see his nuts flipped for what his father did and then for what he did to the people of syria..there is a big syrian comunity where i live..i have many syrian friends: lawyers, physicians, engineers and list goes on..none of them ever, talked good about him..all what i hear is about how much they hate his guts...

    If the "majority" resents the uprising, why haven't they taken to the streets to counter protest?
