  • Noncommittal. :-) Hitchens was not an idiot. He knew no more about Obama than the rest of us, and he obviously didn't buy the hype.

And of course, Barack in his infinite arrogance did confuse cause and effect, and DID and DOES believe that he Himself is the Way, the Truth and the Life and that None Should Be Worshiped Before Him.

    May he rest in peace.

  • It's a shame that Hitchens' persona became so entangled in his atheist writings.... and that that is what he's primarily remembered for. He was an extremely intelligent and well-spoken person and I always found his views on world affairs interesting and insightful.

  • 0bama is an insignificant insect.
An insect who's about to be squashed in the election.
But don't worry Libtard's, he will be made head of the UN and fuck the whole planet up.

  • He did confuse them and proved it when the first thing he said was "I won". He has done more to damage race relations in our country as anyone I can remember, has set them back by at least fifty years.
Another example of what a thinker Hitchens was. Thanks SL

    • @wormhole Not all Republicans are " hillbillies hanging out a the Creation Museum". That would be the same as saying all Democrats are welfare scum who hate America. A large number are, but a large number are not.

  • Christopher is with The Big Boggie Man now. If you vote Democrat, you will be voting Atheist, which means that you too will eventually be with The Big Boggie Man.

  • I miss Hitch, his brother Peter is almost the exact polar opposite in so many ways (religious, conservative, proudly ungroovy). I rate him too.

A real pair of arse kickers.

    • @Luke Ainsley Rowe Hitch was a great American. I disagreed with him on a lot of things, but, he had the stones to stick to his principles. Whereas atheism for so many others is just another vehicle for leftism, Hitchens held Islam to the same standards as other religions. Bill Maher deserves that same credit. Also, Hitchens wasn't hardline liberal, much of his philosophy was Conservative. He was very pro-American. He shredded soooo many anti-American leftists in his time. Was sad to see him go.

  • Now eternally damned but once the biggest farce since the invention of media. Consistently said the exact opposite of what is actually true.
