A pregnant woman was shot during an attempted
assault, this time in the locality of South Castelar, and two
arrested for the incident. Meanwhile, still hospitalized in serious
condition on Saturday attacked women in Ciudad Evita, who this
morning lost her unborn child.
Last night, Geraldine Benitez (27)
was shot by a robber who surprised her with his partner at the door
of his home, police said. She was taken to the Hospital of Moron,
where it was reported that she and the baby were out of danger.

The attack happened yesterday at around 23, compared
to the couple's home in Casacuberta in 1,600. A security camera
recorded everything that happened. In the images we see that the
Benitez lower back of the car and driving her husband waits on the
sidewalk while he keeps the car in the garage. When taking the keys
to enter the house, they see a car passing in the street and stops a
few meters. Within seconds, a thief runs down and pointing a gun at
them. Geraldine's husband throws a punch and and attempts to grab his
arm, tries to defend himself, to which the attacker responds with a
shot that hits the legs of women.

For the attack, a 17 years old and a man of 49 who finished shot, were
arrested after a chase with gunfire, accused of being the
perpetrators of the attempted robbery in which Benitez was injured.
The General Commissioner Sergio Bianchi, Chief Superintendent of West
Zone, told news agency Telam that "the arrests were implemented
in Ramos Mejía, where half an hour later, these same criminals who
shot the pregnant woman had stolen a Renault Sandero".

The attack on the young woman was just one of another day after the
registration at dawn on Saturday in Ciudad Evita, La Matanza, when
Ma. Guarachi (37) was shot in the lung when he came home with his
husband in an attempt to steal his vehicle, that caused the
miscarriage of five months and remained hospitalized in serious
condition at the Hospital Paroissien.

These are two of the many events that are recorded in the city and suburbs, in the wake of
growing insecurity. According to measurements is estimated to occur a
crime every 7 minutes, among merchants robberies, burglaries,
kidnappings, murders and assassinations.
