SEATAC, Wash. -- Four kids are accused of using a pit bull as part of an attack on two women in SeaTac Sunday evening.

A 63-year-old woman saw the group of teens and kids aged 11-15 kicking a pit bull dog in the 13300 block of Des Moines Memorial Drive around 6:30 p.m. Sunday, said Sgt. John Urquhart with the King County Sheriff's Department.

She thought the group needed help and went over to assist, but the oldest in the group -- a 15-year-old girl -- told the woman to mind her own business and attempted to pull the woman from her car, Urquhart said.

The woman left her car and was immediately punched in the head and back by the 15-year-old, deputies said. A boy in the group then ran over with the dog, who began biting the woman in the hand and thigh.

The four teens eventually ran off, but a 41-year-old woman who saw the attack followed the group to SeaTac Park.

When the group realized they were being followed, the 15-year-old walked up to the woman, head-butted her, and then started punching her, Urquhart said.

Deputies say the dog joined in the fray, egged on by the teens, and became increasingly violent. It attacked the woman, biting her in the head, face and both arms. Her left arm was wounded so deep that bone was exposed.

King County deputies arrived and found the four kids still near the scene, with the dog. All were taken into custody without incident.

Urquhart said the others in the group consisted of a 13-year-old boy, a 12-year-old boy and 11-year-old boy. They were all released to their parents.

The 15-year-old girl required medical treatment to her foot from kicking one of the victims, deputies said. She will likely face felony assault charges, Urquhart said. Others in the group could be charged as well.

The dog was turned over to Animal Control.
