Video of Fighting Irish quarterback Jimmy Clausen getting punched by a Notre Dame fan actually surfaced in this emotional Notre Dame University commercial.
Notre Dame; junior quarterback 22 years old Jimmy Clausen got a Punch on the face on Sunday morning at around 2:30, and had a bad eye injury by a frustrated fan outside South Bend bar and restaurant C.J.’s Pub, a famous restaurant for the players, located a mile away from the Notre Dam in the west direction.
One of the bartenders reported that Jimmy Clausen and his family were in the restaurant with some team officials of the Notre Dam. One of his fans came near to Jimmy Clausen; he said something to the player, and blows a smashing punch on the face of Clausen. Clausen got a swelled eye that will lead him away from the play for few days. Bar officials also detailed that it did not happen in the bar premises.
Notre Dam’s captain and Clausen will talk to the media. Clausen’s family and his fans extremely criticized the rough incident with the player and explained that to win and loss is a part of the game, it doesn’t mean that officials to be hurt in such a humiliate way.
They also described that all the players including Clausen play for the win and respect of the country. Notre Dam’s three consecutive defeats resulted the worst incident that will lead the player stay out of the play field for many days. This weekend against Stanford Clausen’s availability is a question. Evan Sharpley is expected to be play in the replacement of Jimmy Clausen.
Chicago Tribune, Police spokesman confirms the media that no legal action has been taken till the weekend.
