    • @Master Of The Universe A specimen of the genus Fatyus Assyus...they are extremely volatile when out of their natural habitat. If you happen to spot one in the wild keep your distance and above all, do not make eye contact with it. If it spots you throw Twinkies at it and back away slowly.

LMAO @ Throw Twinkies at it! I thought it was against the rules to feed zoo animals and or wildlife? LOL

Looks as though, it may have ate it's cage mates, or visitors!

  • The gecko is probably smarter than the combined IQ of the entire group.

  • Why let random customers pick up the livestock in the first place? And then proceed to let every Tom, dick and Harry pull, yank shakes and twist it?? Sad thing is, they won't have learnt any lesson here either..... Poor Gecko.

    • @Wan-chop Well it's smart to have a handler pick it up and tell the customer how to handle it first, but personally birds and I get along very well, I went to the pet store and picked every parrot I could get my hands on just to see which had the best personality among the group. Green Cheeked Conure all the way xD

I would never suggest the average person do what I did however. I study everything I have interest in well before actually experimenting myself, and it's not so simple as my comment More..

    • @EmrysM I agree with you totally ( I generally won't buy an animal unless I have handled it) but I can't understand what was going through the shop keepers mind though.... 'Here's comes a group of drunk/drinking males, I know, let's give them the livestock to handle and let them water board the poor creature to get him off' ... As an owner of various lizards I know, 9/10 times, they give you plenty warning before biting like this... (ps on the bird front my choice has to be the umbrella cockat More..

    • @Wan-chop Personally I like birds to have the balls to fight against offensive actions/gestures(respond in kind, most often, if possible).
I don't want a damn sissy for a pet, but I don't want one which gets confused and attacks a non-aggressor, either.
