you said
"Yep.. Americans steam a battle group into someone
else's backyard...yet again.... and cry,
Agression!, when the locals try and push back.
Think it's a coincidence in timing? Bush is about
to go over and kiss Israeli ass ( and be
"briefed" about possible strikes by
Israel on Iran) and a so-called aggressive move by
Iran takes place? LOL where have we seen this
B-grade movie before...."
try defending this statement against the facts. I know it can be hard be lets try shall we? YALL dang Canadians crack me up haha. :)

Iran tried it on back in March of last year.
15 British Sailors were captured and paraded on Iranian TV for 'espionage'.
They claimed that we were in Iranian water's, when really we were in Iraqi waters with GPS and Satelite readings to prove it.
They are doing it on purpose, it is the IRANIANS fault!

They are stupid and you cant teach them with a few words. Anyone like us that have read or lived it knows better then 2 guys probably live with mommy in the basement.

Passed over the box without incident? And what if there was an incident and the box blew a hole in the ship? Is that what it takes for a military response? The Irani feeler worked just fine as now they will be able to approach any ship they wish in preparation for a coordinated attack. Job "not well done" here.

Hmmm. What I see is not good. I'll wait to see and hear more. But some of the fog is dissapating... and it seems Iranian vessels were intent on making a point. I still wonder if Theran actually authorized this. The ship appear to be in the shipping channel. Better not happen again... or there will be serious serious trouble.

Its simple.
WHO GETS BENNEFIT from this incident? Iran whants a war with USA? i think NOT.
USA wants a war with Iran? YES.
So is VERY VERY VERY possible that the USA over react or simply create this incident.
Like they did it in WW1 with Lusitania sunk by Germans.

The main thing to notice is there is no similarity here with the Gulf of Tonkin incident. (sarcasm)

Welcome to the fight. We have a lot of people to educate. How we going to do it? They will never listen to us. If we kill them all, it makes us one of them, sort of.

speedboat
----------
n.
A fast motorboat.
vs
battleship
------------
n.
Any one of a class of warships of the largest size, carrying the greatest number of weapons and clad with the heaviest armor.
Did the Americans really have anything to worry about or is this just fear mongering propaganda?
