    Lumbering bomber? Are you nuts? All ww2 bombers were lumbering! This made no difference to as the max bomb load was 10 tonnes anyway.

    One thing for sure. The Germans had better intelligence than you give them credit for. Much more than is manifested in your pithy comment. Have you ever flown with 10 tons of bomb load sitting in your belly? I guess not.

    never needed you bombs to protect me.

    and btw seeing the american record in the past 100 years,it seems that those bombs were used for american tyrany around the world.
