Revelation 20:11-15 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

The scriptures teach us that we are living in a world that is FALLEN as a result of mankind joining forces with God's enemy Satan and the angels that joined forces in rebellion with him.

Isaiah 14:12-16 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit. They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms;

The whole world and everyone in it is therefore God's enemy and appointed to suffer the same fate as Lucifer, whom the scriptures refer to as the God of this world and rightful owner of the kingdoms of the earth. Lucifer's fate is to suffer the wrath of god in hell fire for all eternity. God's wrath is not about the destruction that will come upon the earth but the eternal destruction of the soul in hell.

This is the reason why God forged ahead with a plan of salvation 3700 years ago by raising up the children of Israel so that through them he could bring our savior, his own son and our Lord Jesus Christ, into the world to be sacrificed for our sins as an expression of God's love and mercy towards us his enemies.

Joh 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Unfortunately many will fall for the lies of God's enemy, Satan, whose sole purpose it is to prevent men from taking advantage of God's plan for salvation by blinding the whole world with lies like Evolution and that the world is billions of years old, or that life originated out of a premordial sludge, or that the universe created itself in a BIG BANG, and other satanic lies that are patently so absurd that God will not recognize for a moment that you should have ever allowed yourself to be deceived by them.

Romans 1:20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

The scriptures teach that Satan will cause such a strong delusion and thick darkness to come upon the world that few will perceive the grave dangers of eternal destruction to their immortal souls. He will make everything appear normal so that nobody is alarmed.

Isa 60:2 For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.

Isa 47:11 Therefore shall evil come upon thee; thou shalt not know from whence it riseth: and mischief shall fall upon thee; thou shalt not be able to put it off: and desolation shall come upon thee suddenly, which thou shalt not know.

Because of this, unfortunately, many of those who do believe that Jesus Christ is the saviour will not take the message very seriously and in the end even among those who do learn the truth only few will be saved.

Matthew 7:13-14 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

That is the message, the warning, and the good news of the Bible.
