KANSAS CITY, MO - Dashcam video has been released after two Kansas City Missouri police officers were were in a car accident while responding to a call. It's the second wreck this week involving officers.
The two officers were responding to a call near 53rd and Cleveland when they were rear-ended by a car that had been tailgating them. The cruiser was pushed into the yard of a duplex, and one officer had to be cut out.
Police said the other driver was given a sobriety test at the scene and was taken into custody. One officer had serious, but not life-threatening injuries. They both were taken to the hospital and later released.
