New Poll Shows 78 Percent of Pakistanis Support Death Penalty for Leaving Islam, and 83 percent support stoning adulterers.
This is consistent with previous polls where 75 percent have called for implementation of strict Sharia law by Pakistan government.
page 3 — “The new poll finds broad support for harsh punishments: 78% favor death for those who leave Islam; 80% favor whippings and cutting off hands for crimes like theft and robbery; and 83% favor stoning adulterers.”
Only 16% of Pakistanis express a favorable view of the U.S.
