One thing is certain about the universe... it's pretty big. Probably the biggest thing in the, um, universe. Is the universe the actual stuff inside the big empty space or does it include the empty part?
A space has no material, so it really is nothing.

Actually what appears to be empty space was proved not to be by the Hubble Space Telescope's ultra deep field Observation in a section of the sky near the Big Dipper after 10 days of pointing at that section of the sky they found 3000 galaxies in a spot the size of a dime held at arms length. Tje same was found when they pointed the scope to the southern hemoshpere too. Its a big place. LOL

I like the oscillating universe theory, but it still does not answer the ultimate question which is where the hell did everything come from? There can never be a real answer except to beleive that either the universe has always been here in some form or that god(s) have always been here. Ultimately it comes down to a matter of faith in something you can never see or know, even for atheists.
