Jesse Ventura Chris Kyle never punched me in a bar back in 2006

Chris Kyle's story is not adding up, and his motivations appear fishy at best.

1) The incident took place in 2006, but Chris Kyle is just now talking about it. Coincidentally Chris Kyle also has a book for sale, for which he is looking to garnish as much publicity and money as possible.

2) No one at the SEALs bar remembers the incident. This is very odd because the bar was packed that night with people (staff, graduating SEALs and their families, the family of the fallen SEAL, and many other patrons). Jesse was also with a group of people. In over 5 years nobody has ever mentioned this fight, which would have garnished much attention considering both Ventura's and Chris' celebrity status. Chris Kyle is the only person who recalls his sucker-punch-and-run on Jesse Ventura.

3) Jesse has always been vocal about his high regard for the troops, especially the SEALs. He was at the bar because he was giving a speech at the SEAL school to a new class of graduates. The claim that he would make such a crazy comment, against his own SEAL group, while Jesse was there to talk with new SEAL grads, and especially at a wake for the first SEAL killed in Iraq is beyond believable.

4) Jesse Ventura says the incident never took place. He was disgusted and hurt that a fellow Navy SEAL would make such a claim against him. He also claims to have never met Chris Kyle, and that the SEAL made up the story to sell more books.

  • Actually the story never made any sense to me, I'm willing to believe Jesse may be telling the truth.

  • Well you've lied a lot yourself Jesse. For one you were UDT and not a Seal. Plus you never saw combat..

    • @flashj2 Yup but UDT was merged into Seals, this has been covered before. I agree he is a lippy prick for never having seen combat. I heard him berate people saying he signed up during Vietnam and went over there, as everyone who wasn't a coward should have (or words to that effect), then I learned he never saw combat.

    • @dorbie When he was in UDT 11, it was before it was folded into the SEALS

  • Why should we care about what Jesse Ventura and Chris Kyle do?

    Posted Jan-9-2012 By

  • Jesse Ventura is good for honoring our troops, but nothing changes the fact he is a complete nut job conspiracy theorist.

  • Thew fact that Vemtura calls himself a former navy seal tells me that he is lying about this.
    I believe Kyle.

  • Here is what Larry Bailey wrote to me:

"Here's a true story for you. A group of SEALs were recently in McPee's Pub, the SEAL watering hole in Coronado, CA. Jesse was holding court. With the SEALs was a friend of theirs from A-stan, a deadly sniper. He was a modest-sized guy who was content to watch and listen. At some point in the soiree, Jesse made some comment about how training in his day was ten times harder than it is today (which is a lie). The soldier disagreed with him, Jesse wis More..

    • @MurderDenied That makes more sense, at any rate, than the sniper's claim on the radio show that Jesse had denigrated their dead compadre's ultimate sacrifice. That claim never made any sense to me at all.

    • @NotJim He got KTFO though for being a disrespectful prick.

Since we have another witness then it might be safe to say that once again Jesse is lieing.

With his track record it shouldnt be a surprise

  • Which one lied about being a seal and seeing action?

Because I am more willing to believe the other one.

But a book is for sale here and we all know how people will do anything just to get publicity, just look at..........Ventura, Kearns-Goodwin, Frey, and Jones

  • No surprises.
Nothing true has come out of that war, now ever the bar fly tales have grown tall.
The guy's probably lying about all the people he's murdered, too.

    • @Flip500 I'd say he's becoming a fucking lunatic, but he has a point on the erosion of constitutional rights. He perhaps overstated it, but his underlying objection to the kind of law that Obama just signed is valid.

  • Someone is a liar so let the story play out and find out which one has yellow in their blood.

  • Jessie Ventura is a lying fraud. He should be charged with stolen valor for even claiming he was in the SEALS or saying he saw combat. He's a nut job that moved to Mexico and continues to believe the US controls the weather and earth quakes along with being a 9/11 truther.

    He's a nut job.

I'll take Chris Kyles word over that cock suckers any day.
