Codiac RCMP have been kept busy this weekend around the area of the Elmwood
Motel and Iroc bar, just before 2 A.M. a male was severely injured involving a
RCMP patrol car ,and a Ambulance was needed along with Moncton Fire. Many Codiac
RCMP Officers also responded to the accident scene, along with a Supervisor. A
reconstructionist was on route from Sussex. Ambulance rushed the male that
possibly had been punched first to the hospital followed by a RCMP Officer.
Possibly a arrest was made for a assault that occurred. Other Police were busy
taking statements around the Elmwood Motel and parking lot of the bar. Accident
is still under investigation. Just a few minutes later a vehicle got into a
accident running into a construction area that was making a island, driver was
drinking and Police responded to that call , Police in Moncton were kept hopping
during the bars closing this morning.
