In a game between the Sioux Falls Stampede and the Sioux City
Musketeers, hockey player Andrew Prakno blasts a shot off the goal post,
splitting the puck in two. Neither piece went into the goal...might be a repost..get over it if it is

Soooo, what would happen if the bigger piece went into the goal? I doubt they could count it, could they? My excuse as a goalie would be "I didn't know what to watch"

Never seen that before. Almost took a deflected Mario Lemieux shot to the head once at a Lightning game - it actually took a small chunk out of the concrete wall behind my seat. Luckily, I had just left my seat for my sixth $9 rum and coke, otherwise that puck would have been planted in my forehead. I told my wife at the time if it ever did happen, get the puck signed by the player and have it encased in my tombstone.

Man, I haven't heard that name in years, and I think it was a beer commercial. But yeah, we always sat on the corners and this was way before the safety netting they have in place now. As I told my ex, we all gotta go sometime, and I can think of worse ways of checking out LOL

I've got several pucks from Sabres games over the years and all are quite beat up but I have never seen one split.
