Hear hear! I'm using Win 7, and absolutely hate it compared to XP. IMO, XP is the best OS that MS produced.

No shit. Rock solid OS. I've never had a reason to upgrade although I might have to upgrade MS Office as I'm still using Office 2003. I actually use my PC for work.

@quasimodo I kept two pc's with XP, one I kept all the updates on and the other I stopped the updates pre-SP3. SP3 killed a lot of programs, including some drivers for the ATI Radeon video card I use to run my security cameras. "upgrades" aren't always upgrades. One thing I didn't like about Vista was MS changed the display for the Analyze and Defragment Hdd. I like being able to see a visual display of the Hdd before and after Defragmenting. It's somehow satisfying.

I agree. This was designed around everything I don't use. Tablets, laptops, social media, and touch screens. Once again, desktop users are being forced to integrate with inferior devices much like PC games are being reduced to console ports.

So basically they waste much more screen space and made it more hideous to operate it. Instead of right click menus you need to go with "charms" with lots of mouse movements..
