Youtube has joined Netflix in taking steps to ensure that it meets its demise sooner rather than later, and I support the efforts to get Youtube to back off the changes which they are cramming down the throats of loyal content providers, channel subscribers, and consumers of its services. I offer what I think is a slightly different perspective on this matter and join the fight against yet another multinational corporation that is ignoring its customer base and the people who made it successful. Businesses need to have more respect for consumers and should not participate in the stripping away of their rights by governments, for without freedom, entrepreneurship will come to a standstill. Perhaps that's precisely what current businesses would like, because it would result in little to no competition.
