Paddy O'Jihaddy & co, detonate some bombs: Belfast (21/7/1972)
Paddy Jihad in Belfast on what became known as Bloody Friday.
Provos detonated twenty two devices in just over an hour on July 21st, 1972, killing nine people, (including two soldiers), and injuring 130.
By the late 1990's the provos were a beaten force, with most of their senior operatives either working as agents for MI5 & Special Branch, or gunned down in their homes or cars by loyalist forces/police death squads.
Fortunately for them the traitor Tony Blair was happy to offer them a political deal in 1998.
