    Bitch
Maybe if they made the brake look like a faucet or a dish towel?

  • You've gotten to the HEART of the women driver problem - if 99% of the trip is trouble-free and they only wreck at the end, they consider that a pretty good effort.

  • It's a car not the space shuttle..
it's got 2 may be 3 peddles and a wheel...

  • A lady called 999 on her mobile phone to report that her car has been broken into.

She is hysterical as she explains her situation to the operator: "They've stolen the stereo, the steering wheel, the brake pedal and even the accelerator!" she cried.

The operator said, "Stay calm - an officer is on the way."

A few minutes later, the officer radios in, "Disregard.." he says, "She got in the back-seat by mistake..."

    • @Ste_0 Valid point. This looks to me like examination in progress and in Poland during examination at the car park (exam consists of car park skills and open road driving) tester is always outside the car. Tester gets in the car in the second part of the exam when they go actually driving in city traffic. Maybe they will have to re think it now their procedures lol.

  • My mother-in-law did this in her garage. She went through the wall, through the kitchen, and was 1/4 through the next (exterior) wall. She never even learned how to ride a bicycle, yet drives a car.

  • I can't imagine being so derpy that I first accidentally press the gas instead of the brake, AND then continue to hold the gas for that long without realizing.

    • @GreatWalrus

This is a case of wrong pedal syndrome. A professional pilot crashed a 737 because of it...

yeah.. Real cases of people believing that they are pressing the right pedal and because it's not doing what they want it to, they press HARDER!!!

    • @chrisfrd

That was a trainee pilot, probably not best described as a "professional":

      http://www.pprune.org/archive/index.php/t-478393.html

      "Sahara India 737-200 crash Mar 08, 1994 ...
"PROBABLE CAUSE: 'The accident occurred due to application of wrong rudder by trainee pilot during engine failure exercise. Capt. did not guard/block the rudder control and give clear commands as Instructor so as to obviate the application of wrong rudder control by the trainee pilot'." More..

  • People are afraid to have computers automatically drive cars, but seeing this I'd prefer it because I've never met a computer that panicked and broke a brick wall. God forbid anyone was standing in the path of that car.

    • @AdamM Computers cannot evaluate and react to various road conditions nor can they accurately predict the driving situation. It will take a vastly improved AI for that that's able to evaluate visual image in real time. If AI ever gets to that point, we'll have bigger problems, such as a very real threat of Skynet-like BS.

My computer does BlueScreen! I write it this way, because I'm trying to imagine what car does while in infinite loop.

      WOW
