  • Definitely one of the best shows ever.... too bad the uploader doesn't realize that the show's creator, Norman Lear, is a far-left liberal who used Archie Bunker as a foil to make fun of right-wing racists and lampoon their hypocrisy.

    Likewise, the show's star, Carroll O'Connor was an outspoken liberal who often talked about the fact that racists and bigots loved the show because they didn't get that they were the real butt of the joke. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=daZ0aKB9jng

  • this was when life wasn't full of smartphones, people actually talked to each other. if we had this one tv, it was summertime, and our parents weren't fighting and divorcing, then life didn't suck! this was also when t.v wasn't full of everyone talking about sex and we could watch this as a family and hopefully learn something lol.

  • One of the best shows ever, however it totally favored the liberal agenda of the day. Only the liberals could express themselves intelligently and the conservatives were portrayed as mindless buffoons. It may have been the very birth of liberal pc.

  • ha ha ha, I watched "All in the family" regularly. Archie was my Dad, but he changed over the years. He wasnt overly prejudiced over blacks, but, Germans, Japanese and Vietnamese he hated, because of War. He's 94 now and I think he has settled down now. ha ha.
