  • I'm no drag expert but wouldn't you want the steering wheel to be STRAIGHT when your front end comes down???...

    • @the wedge Whoa now kiddo calm down no need to get worked up like that. Don't be the typical trolling child. It just doesn't work anymore nor does it make you look intelligent in any way. What I said makes perfectly logical sense. You didn't catch onto the sarcasm and I can't assist you in recognizing it. Run along now kiddo, don't stay up too late!! You obviously don't have the mental capacity to be commenting.

      Seriously...look at you lol. Pathetic.

Actually I build and drive cars capable of lifting the front wheels and a lot more is going on than the driver just turning the wheel while the car was in the air. What you said might make logical sense but not practical sense as you have zero experience on the subject. You can call me "kiddo" or "troll" if it makes you feel smarter but ironically it actually makes you look like an imbecile with nothing better to offer.
BTW, your kid looks like a monkey fetus.

Regardless of inertial effects in mid air you should never land crossed up.
      Bikers learn that quickly..

    • @the wedge LOL! So basically you just admitted to me being right but that you had to argue for the sake of doing so. Practical sense??...tell me Jeff Gordon, what was "practical" about turning the wheel when the front end is in the air hm?...don't worry I'll wait......I even said I'm not an expert...I used basic logic that anyone who knows how to drive a fucking car would know and you flipped your shit and all of a sudden had something to prove to everyone online. You're a dime a dozen More..

  • Well the idiot cranked the steering wheel to the right with the front end 6' off the ground. Which way do you suppose it's gonna go when the wheels come down?

Cunts crashing their expensive cars = nice Christmas present for me.

    • @fsunoles10 I don't drive. =) And besides, you start a conversation with any man or woman who owns an expensive car and I can tell you 99 out of every 100 is a cunt. It's a fact of life. If you have an expensive car, you're probably a cunt.

      Science has proved this.

Alright it hasn't, but it will one day.

    • @Daveypoo
The Cuntish majority are in the Midrange of car ownership.

I mean, there are variables to this equation, folks who are cunts who drift outside of the norm, but the vast majority of Cunts that you speak of own cars in the 45-90k range.

Once you go higher, most people tend to mellow out and are actually fairly decent people, since they aren't worried about crashing an entire years paycheck in one fell swoop.

And when you get into the lower range, such as the average toyota or Volkswa More..

    • @Killer43 Clearly this theory needs more scientific study. The search for a cure for cancer can and should wait. It's more important we know who's a cunt and who's not.

      Agree?

  • He must be new at this. Don't turn your wheels while the front-end is in the air. It doesn't help.

    Posted Dec-24-2012 By

  • By trying to steer the car whilst in the air certainly didn’t help when it landed.

  • Why did he turn the wheel over so far? Time to stop racing.

  • Was a noob wreck. He had the wheel turned full lock right when the front end hit the ground. If a car on the two rear wheels starts to drift, let off the throttle(don't brake) and hold the wheel straight when it hits the ground. From there, counter steer. Never ever counter steer with the front tires in the air. This will happen.

  • I know! Turn the wheel while the front end is off the ground! It'll be fun!

  • nice driving, crank the wheel to the right while the front wheels are off the ground then forget to turn it straight again. driver error

  • The torque was taking him towards the center line, he stayed in it a little too long, and was going to fast when he came down. way to fast to be over correcting. It happens constantly, Everyone that has a drag car has experienced this feeling before, myself included.

  • That thing for $93k?

I'm sorry, and I hate to say it, but every Ford I've ever seen may have been ok when new but all turned to shit fast. Very poorly engineered and manufactured cars and trucks.

Maybe the rarer high end models are made better but I doubt it. GM and Chrysler are no better.

    Posted Dec-25-2012 By

  • Kinda hard to steer when the front end is 4 ft in the air, then the over-correct upon landing spelled his and the cars demise... time to find a new driver, cause this one can't! lol
