@dockavorkian Yep. Totally avoidable. I saw the wheel cut to the right in the first view, and thought maybe it broke the tie rod when it landed. But the inside view clearly shows him cutting the wheel to try and steer when the front wheels weren't even on the ground.

Actually I build and drive cars capable of lifting the front wheels and a lot more is going on than the driver just turning the wheel while the car was in the air. What you said might make logical sense but not practical sense as you have zero experience on the subject. I'm sorry, and I hate to say it, but every Ford I've ever seen may have been ok when new but all turned to shit fast. Very poorly engineered and manufactured cars and trucks.
Maybe the rarer high end models are made better but I doubt it. GM and Chrysler are no better.

Was a noob wreck. He had the wheel turned full lock right when the front end hit the ground. If a car on the two rear wheels starts to drift, let off the throttle(don't brake) and hold the wheel straight when it hits the ground. From there, counter steer. Never ever counter steer with the front tires in the air. This will happen.
