I was over ten years old when I saw a black person the first time. Even today there's just a few.
We were taught and raised to believe black people were the same as us, just with different skin color.
The more I learn about black people, the more I tend to think our parents and teachers did not know what they were talking about.
Of course I'm generalizing harshly here, but that's the only possible way to talk about a certain group in general, right?
