@Martyr_Machine I don't act shocked, though I do quietly contemplate the internal damage being done when I see people unloading the rear to do a burnout - all the while keeping the RPM needle pointing somewhere up around the red.
Modulate the throttle, a wasted tire is better than a dead engine.

What a stupid title! He amazed no one, I do this everytime I need a new tire. and for the record, its about $350 for front AND back tire, about $175 for just the back.

Bikers do this with old tires all the times. Remember they don't have that long mileage comparing to cars. 6-8K miles and they are toast. Might as well have some fun with them.

@2Phast4Rocket So incorrect on the miles! All of my bikes and my friends have 20-30k miles before they sell them, and they still run great. An owner of a bike shop here has a '01 honda 929 with 127k, hes trying to get to 200k! Most will not go that long though.

6 -8K are the mileage of the tires folks. Sportbikes are even lower. Jeez some people are so emotional.
