The European Union’s foreign ministers have been grasping for a common strategy over Libya. They are grappling with a threat by its leader, Muammar Gaddafi, to end efforts to hold back illegal immigration to Europe from north African shores, if Europe supports the opposition surge in Libya.
Fortunately, and in what is believed to be an unprecedented move by a serving president, the European Union, Barack Obama has now yielded to pressure from his own Political Party, EU questions, and an outright refusal by East Asian countries to accept 'any' form of refugee other than those holding relevant passports.
An alternative means of housing the insurge is via the Outer Lying US Islands, or indeed the Canadian border, which would ultimately serve better as a means of travel to-and-from Michigans Motor City.
European Union Were In Knots Over Libya Until Pres. Obama Stepped In.
Surrounding countries in the ME have also told the President that immigrant integration is 'unfeasible' at this moment in time, and have praised President Obama on his decision to infuse refugees from the following countries:
**** Egypt - 11.2million political assylum seekers,
Libya - 4.3million displaced,
Algeria - 16.9million desperates,
Jordan - 3.1million homeless,
Tunisia (greatest in need at this particular time) - 17.6million
Iranians (of Kurdish decsent) - 0.8million,
Turkish (of Kurdish descent) - 1.1million, and,
further treaties to take in a further 12.5million Yemeni/Syrian
should their position worsen in the near future.
Continued Unrest spreads across the Middle East
UNBELIEVABLY, President Obama Is Said To Have Offered 'Safe Harbour' To Almost 70 MILLION Refugees... although the timescale to home them is as yet, indetermined
British Foreign Secretary William Hague told journalists: “You asked me earlier about whether Colonel Gaddafi is in Venezuela. I have no information that says he is, but I have seen some information that suggests he is on his way there.”
Venezuela has denied this.
With the Europeans struggling to form a united front, foreign policy high representative Catherine Ashton left the ministers’ meeting in Brussels to fly to Egypt.
The details as to the whereabouts of the immigrants relocation, is yet unknown.... although it is seen to be a ploy to integrate trained and skilled workers, especially in the motor industry! Constant criticism of his policies regarding the Motor Industry may indeed force his hand, as demonstrated by Steven Crowder's report below....

Ashton said: “We are extremely concerned by the events which are unfolding in Libya. We condemn the on-going repression against demonstrators, and deplore the violence and the death of civilians and at this time would like to humbly thanks President Barack Obama for his understanding and generous position in accepting this worldwide appeal.”
Ashton is scheduled to meet Egyptian officials, opposition leaders, youth groups and women’s groups. British Prime Minister David Cameron, at the start of a Middle East tour, got to Cairo before her, the first leader to visit Egypt since Hosni Mubarak was forced out as president.
