Supporters and antagonists of Hosni Mubarak fight inside the courtroom and battle with each other and with police in the street, as scenes of jubilation turn sour as the former president, aged 84, is sentenced to life imprisonment.

Video 2: immediately after the sentence, anti-Mubarak crowds inside the courtroom chant that they want the purging of the judiciary, unhappy with the sentence which sets free the sons of Mubarak and his police chiefs who implemented the orders to kill demonstrators. Shortly after, fights break out. The judiciary was seen as not following the clear rule of law, and following another agenda.
