We are not talking about major body parts here, we are talking about very small amounts of tissue that would normally be considered medical specimens.
The vast majority of his body was buried with respect and the dignity he deserved.
If a soldier has a leg amputated in Iraq and he is shipped to Dover to recover and then dies of infection, I can almost guarantee that leg was burned in a pit and put in a landfill in Iraq.
