The Crow is the 2nd most intelligent bird on Earth only behind the Gray Parrot....also more intelligent than a lot of people who post on LL.

@bellava Well Miss or Mr. Bellava, how does one go about obtaining one of these species confused birds?
I tried and failed miserably at getting my own penguin, but I think one of these smart guys would be just as cool.

OMG! We went to Killbear Provincial Park this summer and there was one there that played catch, it would sleep on our shoulders and play with the kids. They are VERY smart. After our in counter with him, I have a deep respect for them:)

@Xquizit They've also been known to distinguish between hunters and campers/birdwatchers. They can tell by your behavior, if you're a threat. They can identify a weapon. etc. They'll avoid you if you're carrying a shotgun, or they'll hang around if you've got food. etc.

You're right...my grandfather said they can tell the difference if you're holding a fishing pole or a shotgun....idk if that's true but that's what he told me.

@MadMike740 Makes sense that they could figure that out. They learned to use crosswalks in Japan. Using traffic to crack nuts in the road, then crossing with the light to avoid cars.
