  • So why did you edit out the part where the expert appraised the art work for $1000?

  • It's not an original. They are copies of the real thing. I would have taken the cash as well.

And besides, if you walk into a PAWN FUCKING SHOP, don't expect to get top dollar. There are other ways to sell stuff. Like eBay, craigslist, etc...

Dude, did you read? Even the lowest copy of that Picasso work is worth at least $10,000..... for $5,000 dollars there are 200 art collectors who will rip your arm off trying to take it from you... yet this mule sold it for $600.

  • Do people even understand how this show works? They are all set up prior and filmed on the same day. All the "buddies" are in the green room ready to come out and help with the item. If you think these are just walk in people you are crazy.

This is a real reality show, why the f*ck are they going to fake this? It's a real pawn shop and yes there ARE stupid people like that. The seller is a woman, what else do you expect? She might think Picasso is a local artist who orders pizza nightly.

I've seen women in local pawn shops selling their $3,000 wedding rings for $125, some garage sales have sold $1 million art work for $3 dollars.

I didn't say it was fake, they all look like real humans to me. What I said was is they are set up prior, they are not walk ins.

You don't understand production work in reality television if this is your argument against Bigair.

He is 100% correct in what he's saying. I work in the reality television industry in L.A. Same idea as L.A./Miami Ink shows. Everything requires setting up. Off-screen in every single area that you don't see is a Grip holding a light, a sound guy with a boom, a grip truck, a director, producer...the list is endless.

It is a real pawn shop that NOW does a weekly(?) television sho More..

  • When they have the oldest guy in the shop tries to buy something he just repeats over and over. "I got hundreds in the back".
And its fake as shit. The guy leaves his blind girlfriend to haggle with two fat fucks... Makes no sense. Vegas blows.

    • @Freezebitch I have seen several episodes where they offered more then the seller was asking "to be fair" Both Rick AND his Dad have done so. (His dad bought one of those classic Monkey's with cymbals that clap them together?)

I would have offered the lady $10 bucks because I have seen them and they kind of amuse me..

She was hoping for $100 and surprisingly opened with an offer to sale for $75 (Not a very bright negotiator?) The old man said he had seen them sale for $300 and wo More..

    • @furious1 Do you realize that most of your industrial knowledge comes from NAzi Germany? After WWII, EUrope was devastated, AMerica took advantage of the situation by retrieveing the best scientists eand engineerd from Europe espacially the nazis. THey then won great contracts thanks to the MArshall plans.
