When the parade is over and the cheering stops, you will continue to hear the war cry of the whiny, cry baby "player hater" who simply cannot, and will not ever appreciate the winner.
It doesn't matter who it is, if you win, they will complain about it.
Why do people openly demonstrate a losers mentality when they choose to hate, or refuse to recognize what's good? I don't get it.

Thats the Yankees problem. Here in the last 10 years they got away from what got them all the championships before....their farm system. Hard to believe Jeter, Posada, Rivera, and Pettitte (my former teammate in college) all came up in 95 together and are still team mates. You just do not see that any more.

Fuk NY. Theres very little honor and integrity in Pro sports anymore. Back in the day players played for the love of the game. Now its whoever pays me the most. Pro sports and even college sports is all business. Watching kids play sports is where true sports lives.

I agree, but I will say that the Yankees have always invested back in to the organization. Other owners just siphon it all out and it's the fans that ultimatley suffer.

I guess the main problem I have with them is they are the whores of baseball... they go around and buy up all the great players. Not really fair, and my team the Twins, have a pay roll of 65 million. So yeah, when we played them in the playoffs that was really fair.
