  • ebonics sounds like what hollywood presented as the style of speech used my ignorant black slaves during the 1800's. why in hell would anyone, especially black Americans want to speak like that? it reinforces the stereotype that black people are less intelligent than non-blacks. it's an insult to themselves. it's not cool, hip, fun or anything else positive. it's lazy and idiotic. coming up with new slang to fit into ebonics doesn't make it any more worthy of acceptance.
