Kabul (BNA) The press sources of the interior ministry said that in
several cleaning operations, police killed 24 Taliban insurgents,
wounded three rebels and arrested seven others.

Interior ministry press office said to BNA, in the last 24 hours, 15
cleaning up operations conducted by Afghan and coalition forces in the
outskirts of Kabul, Nangarhar, Laghman, Baghlan, Kandahar, Logar,
Ghazni, Khost and Helmand provinces, in which 24 Taliban rebels were
killed, two rebels were wounded and seven others were detained.

11 different types of arms, 69 heavy arms, 2320 light arms, 15 mines, 7
grenades, and other military equipments and a motorbikes of enemy were
seized in the operations, said the source.
