Road accident claims 36 lives in NW China

Traffic police work at the accident site after a collision between a 39-seat bus and a methanol-loaded tanker occurred in Yan'an City, northwest China's Shaanxi province, Aug. 26, 2012. The two vehicles caught fire after the collision in early Sunday morning, and at least 36 people were killed in the accident. Three people survived, but suffered injuries, said the local police.
