The suspected robbers fled on two waiting motorycles
Four suspected robbers were caught on camera by a TV crew after holding up a jewellery store.
Two men threatened staff at Leslie Davis Jewellers on Oxford Street in central London, before running to two waiting motorbikes at about 1000 GMT.
They were caught on camera by a CNN crew who were filming on the busy shopping street.
Police confirmed two men had threatened staff and stolen items from the store, and said they would view the footage.
The footage shows CNN reporter Sasha Herriman talking to camera outside a bookstore when the cameraman notices and films the men riding at speed along the street, weaving through traffic.

A Scotland Yard spokeswoman said: "Police were called... to reports of men on motorbikes robbing a jewellers in Oxford Street.
"Two suspects entered the store and threatened members of staff with a sledgehammer. The suspects stole a number of items from the store and left on the motorbikes.
