Anti-North riots rock South Korea
South Korean protesters have clashed with police during a rally in Seoul to show their anger at their country's response to its confrontation with the North.
Demonstrators called on the South Korean government to take a harder line against North Korea following Tuesday's attack on Yeonpyeong Island. Meanwhile, at another protest against the North held in Seoul at the same time, more than a thousand retired-marines also called on for a tougher stance against the North.
Tension between the Koreas is running high as the U.S. and the South prepare for large-scale military drills, set to begin on Sunday.

i understand the anger over the lack of response over the attacks, but are south koreans really prepared for all out war with the north, and possibly the chinese??

The world has imposed a "bag limit" that allows the Norks to kill a certain # from the civilized side without any real action to punish munchkin land.
Those reservists are begining to relize this and that they stand alone. The best they can do is vote out the current leaders when the time comes.

A war with North Korea would last about 5 minutes, if the US backed its friends. What is the point of Pacific Command, if our allies can be murdered with no response? Is PACOM defending theoretical Koreans?

Got to love South Korean rioters. They're good. The US and British embassies in Seoul are like maximum security prisons with barbed wire and shit and buses full of riot police parked nearby 7/24. They know how to riot.
