  • SO WHEN DOES BIDEN "PERSONALY" LEAD THE IMPEACHMENT PROCESS AGAINST THE PRESIDENT?

    • I'd actually like to hear from Biden for a change, but I suspect he won't be taking any questions from the media any time soon.

Vali Nasr, OBAMA'S newly appointed point man did some research where he explained the influence of Mawdudi. Mawdudi founded Jamaat-e-Islami (islamic party). Both Jamaat-e-Islami, along with the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood, is one of the two oldest fundamentalist parties in the Muslim world. "Mawdui believed that societies would become Islamic if the elite in the More..

    • Read the text of the War Powers Act of 1973 here:

      http://www.thecre.com/fedlaw/legal22/warpow.htm

Read "Purpose and Policy" which is Section 2. It'll take ya two minutes, if that.

      This war is illegal.

    • ILLEGAL it is. According to our Constitution.

But we've been "participating" in these types of "Skrimishes" since Carter.

The U.N. does not recognize our Constitution. Period.

The $64,000 question is...What does the U.N./N.A.T.O. recognize as "Framework" for their global proclamations?

      Posted Mar-28-2011 By

      (3) | Report

    • The U.N. Charter.

But my $64K question is, "Since when does the U.N. Charter trump the U.S. Constitution?"

If this war is such a good idea, Congress should debate it and vote - up or down.

Are we a nation of laws or not?

    • Internationally, our Constitution does not apply.

Hence, the securing of our border(s)...or lack of.

Our Federal government has been neutered when it comes to enforcing our Constitution internationally.

    • Oh yeah, I know. Our Constitution has no power outside our own borders. But it is the law of our land. The president must still obey it.

  • Man, this guy is right! Could you imagine any other US president invading an Arab nation under the auspice of ousting a tyrannical dictator. We all know you have to have a good reason to invade, like the existence of WMDs or the possibility of the existence of WMDs or the chance that some day in the future they might have the possibility of creating WMDs. This excuse of fighting for freedom can only be used after we're there and haven't found any WMDs. Oh, and by the way, I don't buy Obama's bul More..

  • if you look at Libya on the map, you can see that there are many other important countries that border it, getting a foothold in Libya would definitely serve our interests as well as those of our allies, i suspect Somalia may be next

    • you're partially right. Egypt has been the historical antagonist to Libya for centuries and the much more powerful of the two nations. Egypt has coveted Libya's oil for years, has no oil of its own only CNG, and would gladly invade and occupy their oil fields using any excuse. this is why Kaddafi has gone out of his way to stop antagonizing the US since the 1980's.

But even this wasn't enough for our current regime of idiots, now we are involved in fighting on a third front, without so muc More..
