Romney is behind in all the polls because he is a crappy candidate.....which is not the product of a Democratic conspiracy.

  • im far from a servant of the politics of illusion and obama but conservatives should shed the neo cons and the holy rollers and restore the honorable conservatives of old.the debate is so degraded now im sure some of us wonder what the hell we are writing sometimes.

    • @stixtoo This is one of the most intelligent posts I've read on LL in a long time... Now, if they would only listen... It's been said by Democrats AND Republicans for years!

    • @ILovePickles many thanks man.there are days on LL,rare that they are, that sense returns on both sides if only briefly.ones got to wonder, as a piece of meta turf when LL will mature a little.i for one grow weary of intransigence and mud slinging although im as guilty as the next man.i do know there are items that agitate a couple of neurons in the back of my skull and those mostly responsible are neo cons and holy rollers.

  • MSNBC is not a valid journalism outfit.
Why do you post their content as such?

Shall I post Al Jazeera content and call it news?

Surely the most mentally handicapped liberal can see that Shultz is supremely left leaning... and therefore forfeits objective journalism and only offer opinion pieces.

    • @ScareCity As usual attacking the messenger is FAR easy than actually refuting the message.....which requires you to dust of your brain.

    • @gregsto .....so are you saying you would pose a well draw out and time consuming rebuttal to Fox information?

      Posted Sep-30-2012 By

      (0)

    • @ScareCity When something is false it seldom requires a drawn out and time consuming rebuttal. I would not make a "Fox is a joke" or similar comment and leave it at that, no. That is childishly stupid.

    • @gregsto Well~ why when I made my comment, did you not formulate exactly how and why NBC is not skewed but instead accurate. Instead you chose to attack me....the messenger? Seems hypocritical, can't have that. We both stand on equal grounds, why would I be held to a higher standard than you?

      Posted Sep-30-2012 By

    • @ScareCity Nice try, but I did not attack you and it was not at all incumbent on me to provide ANY substantive defense to your comment which contained absolutely no substance itself.

  • Matt Taibbi quote during Romneys primaries....He's 1 percent of the bloodsucking corporte raiders, that eyes start pinwheeling when asked a question about his wealth. As his electable boring mannequin act begines to crumble around his trueself, a deluded gazillionaire nittwit, is suddenly being thrown naked onstage , for all of America to see.
Sounds like he hit the nail on the head...........

  • The thing I notice most about this election is that unlike previous election years, I barely see ANY yard signs. It seems both sides are less than enthused with their candidates.

    • @rapscallion Somebody was out posting a sign in my yard today. At some point in the past, half my backyard was sold off to an a/c repair business so they have a lit up sign in the corner of my front yard. They were attaching it to the existing sign.

I'm not sure if I technically own the part of the yard their sign is on or not, but if that was an obama sign, it would already have met a horrid and mysterious end. It wasn't, but that might have something to do with it.

    • @randir14 yeah dude totally...That is exactly how Obama won..The masses turned out to vote for Mccain and Palin but was scared into voting for Obama.

I do not know what is more scary Panthers intimidating voters or the fact that 100million republican voters would be stupid enough to not realize they could still vote for Mcain once they were in the voting booth.

So its either that or Obama won because people showed up to vote for Obama

    • @randir14 All two of them were Really a threat. If they broke any voter laws, why didn't the Bush administration (who was in still in charge BTW) prosecute them?

    • @hubz08 CNN reported the same thing, and in a Fox poll, Obama is winning as well. Not defending the just as insane party rhetoric as Fox news but the republicans are the ones complaining and they are just reporting that.

  • Yeah, ummm, hearing Ed Schultz talking about other people creating their own reality is like a patient in the insane asylum screaming that the guy in the neighboring cell is insane.

Is Romney a terrible candidate who is now suffering from a series of self-inflicted wounds? Yes.

Are the polls overstating Obama support by oversampling Democrats? Yes. They did so in 2008--the typical polls leading up to election day showed Obama with 55% or 56% of the vote, two or three points stronger than he More..

    • @buzzardist Do you consider Faux News and Rasmussen polls "skewed" toward Democrats also? Because they pretty much show the same numbers as the "biased " polls do.

      Posted Sep-29-2012 By

    • @cdlcrash

The Fox News poll, historically, has actually slightly overstated Democratic support. Say what you want about Fox News reporting, but their polls seem to be done independently.

Rasmussen currently has Obama +1, which is a very tight race and very much in line with what Rasmussen has been saying all along.

Rasmussen, by the way, was the most reliable presidential poll, along with Pew, in 2008. Rasmussen and Pew were the only two polls that correctly predicted the margin of victory More..

  • In my lifetime there hasn't been a presidential candidate with an actual chance of winning that I've wanted to vote for.

  • Don't waste your time with polls. In truth, no one knows who is going to win. All the polls are flawed.

  • Polls are such BS.. They ask 1000 people a question and that some how relates to the millions that vote? Riiiiight

  • "G.I. give up now. You have no chance." - Tokyo Rose, WWII

Sort of like the media didn't skew the facts by only reporting the first, third and fourth place finishers in one of the Republican primaries? Guess who finished second and actually wound up with first place in delegates.
