Kabul (BNA) In mopping up operation of national army forces in the
vicinities of Nerkh district of Maidan-Wardakk province, 6 militants
killed, 6 wounded and a Kalashnikov, a set of ICOM communication were
seized by these forces.

Another report said, the personnel of national army conducted an
operation in the outskirt of Dar-e-Soof district of Samangan province, a
militant was killed, 10 arrested and an ammunition cache were seized.

Meanwhile, the national army personnel during a patrol in the
vicinities of Dara-e-Peeach district of Kunar province, seized a
vehicle, 6 Kalashnikovs, 2 sets of communication, 100 PK machine guns
and a mine.

Also, the national army personnel discovered and defused 11 mines from
vicinities of Kajaki and Gereshk and Washir of Helmand province and 2
mines from vicinities of Khas district of Urozgan province.

According to the source, explosion of mines and firing of enemies in
the vicinities of Kunar, Nooristan, Samangan, Paktia, Helmand and
Kandahar provinces, 4 personnel of national army were martyred and 13
were wounded.
