Thanks for the link... but how in the world do you know exactly when your target is going to cross the street, be going at that speed to 'meet' her and kill her? And any professional hitman would be aware of cameras. Just sayin' I still think it was an accident (but the driver should definitely be prosecuted.)

@k57 Under laws of Russia if casual to bring down the person and to escape, it is possible to avoid strict punishment. If in a different way to kill the person purposely that it is possible to sit down in prison really for very big term. Here obvious calculation. About video cameras he could not know, and on them it is well visible that it not casual incident.

As this happened in Southern Russia which is full of Moslems from Caucasus (Pyatigorsk is exactly there) that could have been a "pride kill" by some relative or angry islamist 'cause they or he found that this woman wasn't shy enough for a woman etc.

This is the EXACT reason I teach my kids to walk and ride thier bike beside the road facing ONCOMING traffic and a couple of times they had to get out of the way but lived because they saw the car going off the road. NO SUPRISES.
