I had a friend who worked in a shelter..... She had to do this (albeit only once). She told me they do this usually once a month, so it's not an everyday thing for them. Also I get a sense that the guy working the gas doesn't like doing it either but it is obviously a small part of this type of job.... Although it is horrible to see the vid, I am glad they didn't abuse the animals before gassing them.
