  • If one tries to understand Chinese way of thinking, logic as it were this it would not occur to this excavator operator that he's in any danger. It may sound like I'm making a dig at Chinese (no pun intended) however I am not. Chinese think in a very linear way, like a computer running a program, line by line. He is working to clear the debris so that is all he his thinking about and while he knows if he turns the wrong way he will fall over the edge it doesn't strike him as dangerous.

    • @tihZ_Ho I also think that's why chinese are so good at many things if they want it. It's because they work tirelessly like a machine. They don't need to understand anything they just memorise it, ''like a computer''.

    • @ReD_RuM Yes, this is true and this is how they learn at school. I.E. All Chinese study English in school, and to graduate from university they must pass CET Band 4*, which is an lower intermediate English proficiency test.

      Therefore one could be excused for thinking that all educated Chinese should be able to comprehend and speak English at a lower intermediate level after at least 12 years of English study, however most could not spell the word "cat" or put a few words together.
