    • @guitpik Why? Do you know what they sound like? Is this a good recording of? I'd like to know having never experienced it. I have had countless dreams as long as I can remember..and I mean countless over the last 35 or so years. What I did hear was the sound of wind through pine. Anyone who can give a link to a good rep of what it sounds like to be there would be greatly appreciated!

    • @rmg03c Why would you need another link to see what they sound like when you just heard what they sound like in this vid. I've been through 3 tornadoes and that is what they sound like. The screeching sound as the tornado hit's the house is typical and I don't think anyone knows why that sound but like one LL'er mentioned it's sometimes called the trumpet of death.

    • @rmg03c Just saw your comment on my message board. Just a little late.:) I've experienced many of the things you were talking about. For some very good and realistic sounds, but artificial I think, check out http://www.stormsounds.com/home/index.html. Listen to the supercell tornado first, very scary.
