Youtube uploaders description: "On September 11th, 2001, I was shocked like most people around the
world. A few days later, as a way of coping with the tragedy, I cut this
little video together out of images I took at the World Trade Center in
1999 with a number of fire trucks.
As far as I know, all of the
trucks and firemen that you see in this video have perished on 9/11.
The "6" Truck seen prominently in this video is now on display at the NY
State Museum in Albany as part of their 9/11 display (it is a burned
wreck now).
A few weeks after I initially posted this video on my
website in 2001, I received an email from a member of the NYFD who
thanked me for the video. That meant the world to me.
Sorry for the poor quality, but this was made from a VHS recording."

Another perfect example of why it's important to continue securing our freedom to capture/film images of things/people in our view. Another perfect example of how seemingly innocuous images can someday have insurmountable meaning. This little piece is one of the best 9/11 related vids I've ever seen. Very cool.

The City of New York had to have at least had some misgivings about being able to fight a fire in a building this large. Each floor was one acre in area. If you have five or six floors heavily involved how are you going to fight it?
To this day I fault Mayor Giuliani, the Port Aurthority and the upper echelons of the NYPD for sending those guys in there. How the people of NY let that happen is beyond me. Any subsequent investigations were just white-washing cover-ups.

Their families have every right to our respect, and our condolences and to be remembered not only for their acts on that infamous day but also for how they conducted themselves throughout their lives.
