Giant Bat Killed By Hunters in Philippines
The giant golden-crowned flying fox (Acerodon jubatus), also known as the golden-capped fruit bat, is a rare megabat and one of the largest bats in the world. The species is endangered and is currently facing the possibility of extinction because of poaching and forest destruction. It is endemic to forests in the Philippines.

That is not a giant golden-crowned flying fox (Acerodon jubatus) or a golden-capped fruit bat. It is not a bat at all. It's a Colugo, also known as a flying lemur, even though it is not a real lemur.

@mlivsey I don't think the photo is altered but it is posed. The Colugo is hanging on a line (They are only a foot or so long). The guy with the gun is stood a ways behind it.
