Highlights from the Countach featured on CBS's "60 Minutes". Includes a top speed run by Valentino Balboni (with Morley Safer riding shotgun). Sourced it from an old VHS tape of mine, so the video quality could be better, but the sound is good. The Countach is the original exotic car. Enjoy!

I remember back in the late 80's they were going for a song. Then a couple of years ago I saw one sell at auction for almost $400k. I think it belonged to the arms dealer/merchant of death Adnan Khashoggi. Don't know if that affected the price.

Dfinately one of my top 5 favorites of all time. My first time seeing one was in the movie 'Speed Zone' in the opening scene. I was instantly in love. You cant beat that sound.

@Transmogrifier Yeah. I have mixed feelings about it. Certainly a beautiful design but also kinda just... on the fringe of laughably over the top and boxy. Just on the edge of flirting with it. Enough that it would make me look around and wonder if I wasn't being laughed at while driving it.
