Warning GRAPHIC 16 foot Snake Found with Adult Deer in its Stomach

"A 16-foot-long Burmese python was found to have a whole adult deer in its stomach after it was captured and killed in a U.S. national park.

The reptile - one of the biggest ever found in South Florida - had recently swallowed a doe the size of a small child.

Skip Snow, a python specialist who conducted the autopsy at Everglades National Park, said the animal had a girth of 44ins with the 5st 6lb deer inside its stomach.

    • @lolsmurf If you're going to respond to someone on the internet, atleast do a little research into the subject. Damn, I didn't realize AXMAN was 500 years old.

Read into this instead of being a fucking tool online.

  • I love all the comments "Why don't they relocate it?" How do you relocate an animal that doesn't belong anywhere in this hemisphere? Burmese pythons have adapted to S. Florida's climate and are devastating native wildlife. They need to be eradicated

  • I'm generally a bunny-hugger, but some faggots let their pets loose, that got too big, and now the snakes are fucking up the ecosystem of the Everglades etc.

    Kill 'em all.

  • They have to kill all the invasive large snakes and iguanas, they have no predators here and are taking over.
    Google it.
That is by far not the largest found in S Florida.
    Several were much larger.
My pet was 12 feet long when she died at the age of 21.

  • Now that's a snake! OMFG!

when I was a kid I had this huge wad of Hubba Bubba in my mouth, like 3 packs! When we got to the lake I spit it out. The next day I found a garter snake with a huge bulge in its belly.....same size as the gum in the same place I spat it! LOL!

  • These non-native species are becoming a national nightmare and need to be eliminated by any means and at any cost. The Everglades species deserve to exist and thrive in their native habitat just as do those animals and plants that remain at the Galapagos Islands.

It's a perfect example of why certain exotic animals shouldn't be kept as pets. On the one hand it isn't the snakes fault and doesn't deserve to be killed. On the other hand it doesn't belong in Florida and will cause all kinds of ecological damage to existing indigenous wildlife. It's unfortunate, but they have to go.

  • Florida is really starting to become invaded by all these snakes. It's quickly becoming a huge problem.
