@TheMonkeyOnYourBack Thinner air means mostly just cruising at super sonic(ludicrous speed)

@EmrysM Thrust or projection via movement of air (jet engine) has less fantastic effects in thin atmospheres.
But hell yeah!! directional thrust is most proudly displayed at highspeed near Earth.

Nice camera work...
That turn at 1:37, looks impossible. Gotta be to some serious G there...

@Obba41 The turn at 1:37 is actually a very low G turn because the plane isn't moving much, actually it's near 0 G because the plane is falling as it is in a controlled flat spin with the aid of vectored thrust and differential throttle control(one engine being throttled lower than the other, making the thrust uneven on either side and making the plane spin).

Has this plane ever been used in a Dog fight or in middle east ? Just curious ~

@Furia We sent some to Red Flag war games and it went 144-1.
Pissed some europeans off too because it doesn't need to use radar to lock on. It can lock onto the electronics in the other planes giving it the ability to track and guide missiles without being detected itself.
We've sent some to the middle east over this whole iran debacle as well, hopefully if we do go to war we get some good F-22 footage.

Amazing piece of technology.

Show in 2009. At least three years flying and still not sure about the O2 feeds...
Are you guys below taking about vector thrusting?
