At least six people were killed and four other injured when a gunmen opened fire at a North Texas roller rink during a birthday party in Grand Prairie.The shooting at Forum Roller World, 1900 S. Great Southwest Parkway, occurred when a family member drew a pistol during what apparently started as a fight
between a husband and wife, police Chief Steve Dye told Dallas news.Grand Prairie police spokesman John Brimmer told KXAS-TV in Dallas that shooting took place just after 7 p.m. at Forum Roller World when an argument got out of
hand during a party and someone pulled a weapon and opened fire.The gunmen died of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound, police said.Brimmer said that there was a private birthday party at the rink and the gunman was one of the attendees.The injured survivors were immediately taken to the hospital but their personal details and their condition weren’t disclosed.Aaron Feldt a resident of Grand Prairie told the Dallas Morning News that he saw some of the victims run across the parking lot of the roller rink."There were people coming across the street looking panicked. They had children along with some adults. You could tell there was a sense of urgency and panic in their eyes,” Feldt said.The shooting took place just after 7 p.m. but the dead bodies were still inside the building till 9.30 p.m., the Morning News reported.
