This took place while several settlers were confronting the IDF forces in a small outpost in the West Bank. Seems the soldiers had enough with the settlers behavior and they arrested several of them, while one of the soldiers can seen violently dragging one of the teens dozens of meters, while also pulling him by his hair.
So, did I post this since I think the settlers are the victims in this image...? Not at all- I guess they quite deserved it.
But what if this soldier was doing exactly the same to a Palestinian teen who was rioting...? What were the comments over here regarding this soldier...?
You can also see here several photos who show the IDF don't hesitate to use excessive force against Settlers, including pulling religious girls by their hair or stepping on them with horses.
I'm trying to recall an image of Israeli forces pulling religious Muslim girls by their hair or stepping on them with horses and can't think of such... Of course it doesn't mean there arn't cases of excessive force against Palestinians or Arabs in general, sure there are, but this is exactly the complexity of police missions of such forces- They have to handle rioting populations which often provoke them any chance they have.
Eventually such forces are having enough with this conduct and they start using excessive force- It can be seen all over the world, not just in the West Bank.
The blame is with the general policy itself (the occupation in this case), NOT with the soldiers or police units- They are only doing their jobs, and do it the same regardless the nationality of the people who confront and riot against them.

The pictures are old and not connected to this story. They are from when the IDF evicted the settlements in Gaza with alot of media coverage and crocodile tears.
