What a great idea...but then ruined because we can't see the effects. Knocking a hat off a dummy isn't how it's done, gentlemen.
EDIT: didn't see the second video. Better to have left off the first video altogether. All it shows are poofs.

Use piano wire and led weights. Make and X with the wire, put fishing weights on the ends, put it in the shell. Bingo tree splitter, lol.
